About the Job
We are looking for a highly capable Video Editor & Social Media Manager to transform raw footage from vehicle and marine installations into polished, engaging short-form content for digital platforms. Footage will be captured by our internal team, workshops, and dealer partners using smartphones or cameras. Your role is to turn that raw footage into professional, high-performing content for social media, marketing campaigns, and dealer promotions, then publish approved content across our social channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into compelling content formats such as Instagram reels, Facebook videos, Youtube shorts, TikTok videos, advertising creatives, dealer marketing videos and installation highlight videos.
- Enhance videos with subtitles and captions, simple motion graphics, branding elements and logos, music and audio enhancement and vehicle or engine model titles.
- Example content may include exhaust sound comparisons, vehicle installations, marine engine installations, dealer workshop installs, customer vehicle builds and product demonstrations.
- Maximize the value of raw footage by turning one source video into multiple pieces of platform-specific content.
- Once content is approved, upload and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Writing or adding captions and hashtags.
- Tagging relevant vehicle models or engines.
- Scheduling posts.
- Organizing and maintaining content libraries.
- Maintain a well-structured content library so videos are easy to locate, reuse, and distribute.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience using professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of short-form social media video editing, subtitles and captioning, fast-paced, attention-grabbing editing styles in automotive and/or marine content.
- Ability to produce high volumes of content quickly without compromising quality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, follow brand guidelines, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Experience editing automotive content.
- Experience editing marine or boating content.
- Motion graphics skills.
- Experience using social media scheduling tools.
