About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage both financial and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily business operations, and ensuring compliance with NDIS administrative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using Xero.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end procedures.
- Monitor invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure financial data is entered accurately and maintained in a timely manner.
- Maintain and organize client files in compliance with NDIS requirements.
- Support document management and record-keeping processes.
- Provide general administrative support to the team.
- Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and internal coordination as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive client and financial information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak Mandarin.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper using Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage both accounting and administrative duties effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience working within the NDIS or disability services sector.
- Knowledge of NDIS compliance and documentation requirements.
